Millwright

About the Role Aecon is seeking a skilled millwright to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery with precision and safety. The role requires excellent manual dexterity and the ability to read technical documents, with a strong mechanical aptitude to support complex infrastructure projects. What You'll Do

• Adhere to strict safety guidelines and proactively identify and manage potential safety risks.
• Use strong mechanical skills to work with tools and equipment such as wrenches, hammers, forklifts, and similar machinery.
• Read and interpret technical documents, including specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints, to perform work accurately.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and equipment issues efficiently.
• Apply solid mathematical skills and attention to detail to ensure precision and quality workmanship.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team, working closely with fellow tradespeople, Engineers, Plant Managers, and parts vendors to support project success.

• Extensive knowledge of industrial machinery and the ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent manual dexterity and precision; strong mechanical aptitude with commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, specifications; basic math skills and attention to detail.
