Military Mechanic | Outside IR35 Contract

Location: Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Pay Rate: £17.00/hr Base Rate + £5.00/hr Living Allowance (£22.00/hr Total Rate) | Paid Weekly

Contract: 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Shift: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–13:00 (13:00 Friday Stand-Down)

All Tools Provided: Standard and specialist mechanical tooling supplied on-site—no need to transport your personal toolkit. Join E-ppl Ltd on a key fleet maintenance and sustainment contract in Ashchurch. You will work within an experienced, forces-friendly workshop team ensuring vehicle platforms are maintained to military and regulatory standards.
Perform mechanical inspections, routine maintenance, and repair tasks.
Complete defect rectifications ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections (MEIs).
Execute platform upgrades, reworks, and fault-finding.
Maintain workshop safety and compliance protocols. Location & Commute

Located right off M5 Junction 9 / A46. Excellent local commutable access from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, Evesham, Redditch, and Tewkesbury.

To be considered, candidates must provide proof of one of the following:

Trade Qualifications: Proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 (or Military Trade Proficiency Certificates — e.g., REME Vehicle Mechanic Class 1/2, Armourer Class 1/2, or RAF/RN equivalent).
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Clearance (fully sponsored and managed by E-ppl).
Experience: Hands-on mechanical experience with military vehicles, light vehicles, or heavy equipment.
