Job title: Migrations Manager

About the Role

The Migrations Manager leads the migration of districts from Tyler's legacy Versatrans transportation software to the cloud-based Student Transportation solution. You will own end-to-end migration roadmaps, risk mitigation, and quality assurance to ensure data integrity and a smooth transition for districts.

What You'll Do

• Develop end-to-end migration roadmaps with scope, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal partners and clients to communicate progress and manage expectations.

• Lead migration processes and oversee activities (GIS, Implementation) using tools like Monday.com until migrations are fully operational.

• Identify potential risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.

• Conduct pre-migration assessments and post-migration validation to ensure data integrity and system functionality.

• Collaborate with department managers to develop and improve processes, communicate, and escalate issues.

• Track, plan, and report progress; organize regular internal migration status meetings; demonstrate strong leadership and client-focused urgency.

• What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of software implementation experience in the K-12 sector.

• Management experience leading direct reports.

• Strong project management skills with experience managing complex software projects.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with data mapping and strategies to prevent errors during migrations.

• Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Monday.com, GIS, and related implementation tools.

• Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: USD 77,823 - 85,000 per year.
