About the Role The role focuses on designing and developing middleware services that abstract the core banking system and creating APIs aligned with Temenos Digital, enabling robust integration between the central core and digital solutions. What You'll Do
- Conceive and implement middleware services to abstract the core banking system
- Create and maintain APIs per Temenos Digital expectations
- Ensure orchestration, authentication and error transformation
- Develop adapters for existing systems (e.g., SOAP to REST)
- Implement middleware patterns (BFF, API Gateway)
- Manage messaging and eventing via Kafka, RabbitMQ or IBM MQ
- Ensure secure exchanges (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS)
- Test and validate (JUnit, Mockito, Postman, API testing tools) What We're Looking For
- Java (Spring Boot) or .NET Core (C#)
- REST, JSON, XML, OpenAPI (Swagger)
- Integration & Orchestration: legacy systems, SOAP → REST
- Middleware Patterns: BFF, API Gateway
- Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ
- Security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS
