About the Role The Middle School Special Education Teacher supports K12-powered virtual middle schools with personalized learning programs, engaging courses, and a vibrant school community. You will be responsible for designing program structure and resources to maximize the special education experience for students and learning coaches. You will build strong relationships with families, students, and learning coaches to ensure all students progress successfully through the program.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage program structure and resources to maximize the special education experience for students and learning coaches.
- Build and maintain relationships with families, students, and learning coaches to monitor progress and ensure successful outcomes.
- Support delivery of compassionate, engaging instruction in a virtual middle school environment aligned to personalized learning programs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree; 0-1 year of related professional experience.
- Interest in or experience with K-12 virtual learning and special education.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with families and students.
