About the Role Baker McKenzie is seeking a mid-to-senior-level associate with patent experience to strengthen our Intellectual Property practice. The role will support patent disputes, and will also contribute to patent prosecution and patent transactions. Dallas, Texas-based with a hybrid schedule, and Texas Bar qualification or waive-in eligibility. What You'll Do
- Handle complex intellectual property matters including patent disputes, as well as trademark, copyright, false advertising, unfair competition, and trade secret matters, alongside related licensing and commercial disputes.
- Assist with patent application drafting and transactional patent matters.
- Collaborate with global teams and contribute to cross-border IP initiatives.
- Advise clients and help develop and implement IP strategies in collaboration with partners. What We're Looking For
- Meaningful experience in patent matters, preferably focused on patent disputes.
- Engineering background is essential.
- Texas Bar qualified or capable of waiving into the Texas Bar.
- Strong collaborative, diligent, and client-focused professional. Nice to Have
- Experience with patent prosecution and licensing transactions.
