About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-to-Senior Backend Engineer to spearhead the growth of our 24/7 high-throughput infrastructure, with a particular focus on expanding our core domains into the sports and prediction ecosystem. This role thrives within a fast-paced, startup-minded environment and requires a deep domain understanding of sports platforms and prediction environments to keep critical transactional networks running around the clock. What You'll Do
- Lead backend system development with production-level mastery, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with Sports systems, Sportsbooks, Prediction markets, or high-velocity sports-data infrastructure.
- Design and implement scalable services using Golang, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.
- Engage with cross-functional, global teams and manage competing project priorities.
- Architect and optimize transactional workflows, distributed state machines, and race-condition mitigation to ensure strong consistency and fault tolerance. What We're Looking For
- Minimum Qualifications: Solid mid-to-senior level backend development experience with production-grade mastery.
- Proven experience working closely with Sports systems, Sportsbooks, Prediction markets, or high-velocity sports-data infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Golang, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka.
- Elite communication and collaboration skills; comfortable navigating cross-functional, global matrix teams and managing competing project priorities. Nice to Have
- Deep familiarity with transaction-heavy, money-related modules, or payment ledgers.
- Advanced expertise in designing complex concurrent systems, race-condition mitigation, and distributed state machines.
- Previous professional experience operating smoothly within a rapid, ambiguous, or highly entrepreneurial startup environment. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
