Job title: Mid-Market Specialties Leader

About the Role Health & Benefits North America (H&BNA) is seeking a Mid-Market Specialties Leader to drive the strategy, growth, and delivery of specialty capabilities across the Mid-Market segment. This role is a senior leadership position accountable for strategy, talent, and delivery of specialty capabilities in support of business objectives and market positioning.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute the Mid‑Market specialty strategy to support segment growth, market positioning, and client value propositions.
  • Partner with Regional, Mid-Market leaders, Large Market specialty leaders, and Strategy & Specialty leader to ensure specialty solutions meet evolving segment needs.
  • Drive innovation and differentiation across specialty offerings for the Mid-Market, including scalable solutions and intellectual capital.
  • Strengthen WTW’s external Mid-Market presence through thought leadership, client engagement, and market-facing activity such as an annual go-to-market/sales-focused event for the Mid-Market.
  • Maintain senior-level relationships with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners, leveraging market influence to shape solutions and advocate for client needs.
  • Serve as the senior leadership connection point for Mid-Market specialty talent and work to maintain One H&B alignment with the Large Market Specialized Leader.
  • Collaborate with region and office leaders and other specialty leaders to deliver integrated client solutions for the Mid-Market.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 15+ years of industry experience in direct and successful client consulting.
  • Proven senior leadership experience with accountability for people, strategy, and business outcomes (at least one prior WTW leadership role preferred).
  • Multi-specialty background with demonstrated expertise across complex engagements.
  • Strong track record of developing leaders and managing teams at scale.
  • Experience in recruiting, developing, and retaining high performing talent.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing KPIs and performance outcomes.
  • Executive presence with well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across regions, segments, and specialty areas.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and leading through change.
  • Demonstrated commitment to and embodiment of WTW values.
