Mid-Level Angular Developer

Everforth Apex

We are seeking a Mid-Level Angular Developer to support the development and enhancement of an enterprise UI component library used across multiple applications and business units. This role will work closely with senior engineers, UX designers, architects, and product teams to create reusable, accessible, and scalable Angular components that improve consistency and accelerate application delivery.

The ideal candidate has solid Angular development experience, a passion for front-end engineering, and experience building modern web applications in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Component Development

• Develop and maintain reusable Angular components and UI patterns.

• Implement enhancements and defect fixes for existing library assets.

• Build configurable, responsive, and reusable front-end components.

• Consume design specifications and translate them into production-ready code.

• Support component refactoring and modernization initiatives.

• Front-End Engineering

• Develop web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.

• Participate in component integration efforts across multiple applications.

• Assist in performance tuning and optimization activities.

• Support API integration and data presentation requirements.

• Design System Support

• Collaborate with UX designers and development teams.

• Implement approved design system standards.

• Ensure component consistency and alignment with enterprise branding.

• Participate in design and code review sessions.

• Accessibility & Quality

• Apply accessibility best practices during component development.

• Assist with WCAG 2.1 AA compliance testing and remediation.

• Develop and maintain unit tests.

• Participate in functional, regression, and component testing activities.

• Documentation

• Document component features, configurations, and usage examples.

• Support Storybook or similar component documentation platforms.

• Create technical implementation notes and user guidance.

• Contribute to knowledge-sharing activities within the team.

• Agile Delivery

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives.

• Provide task estimates and status updates.

• Collaborate with team members to deliver project milestones on schedule.

• Escalate risks, blockers, and technical concerns when appropriate.

• Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of front-end development experience.

• 2+ years of Angular development experience.

• Experience with:

• Experience consuming REST APIs.

• Experience using Git source control.

• Understanding of responsive design principles.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

• Experience working with enterprise component libraries or design systems.

• Exposure to Storybook or component showcase/documentation tools.

• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira.

• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
