Job title: Microbiologist
About the Role Perform microbial testing and analysis using standard laboratory techniques. Assist with other microbiological and molecular analyses as needed. Ensure quality control procedures are followed and equipment is properly calibrated. This role supports daily laboratory operations and helps prepare accurate reports to contribute to ALS's mission of safe and healthy outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Perform microbial testing and analysis using standard laboratory techniques.
- Assist with other microbiological and molecular analyses as needed.
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed and equipment is properly calibrated.
- Perform calculations, interpret test results, and prepare accurate reports.
- Support daily laboratory operations and undertake additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Background or training in microbiology/lab techniques and familiarity with standard QC procedures.
- Ability to follow quality control procedures and calibrate lab equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to perform calculations and prepare reports.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; willingness to take on additional duties.
- Eligibility to work in Singapore (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa).
