About the Role Prevost, a division of Volvo Canada Inc., is seeking a Metrologist for the Sainte-Claire plant on the evening shift. The Metrologist serves as a reference and support for geometric and dimensional tolerancing, analyzing and verifying dimensional and functional conformity of parts, gauges, and critical assemblies, and, if required, externally. The role also ensures the application of the calibration process for measurement and testing equipment and the implementation and maintenance of all work instructions and their follow-ups. What You'll Do
- Provide metrology support for geometric and dimensional tolerance analysis (GD&T) and verification of parts, gauges, and critical assemblies, internally and externally if required
- Analyze and verify dimensional and functional conformity of components
- Ensure application of calibration processes for measurement and testing equipment
- Implement and maintain all work instructions and their follow-ups
- Collaborate with operations to drive quality and continuous improvement What We're Looking For
- D.E.C. Technique en génie mécanique, option fabrication
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledge of GD&T, metrology, and calibration processes
- Ability to work the evening shift on-site Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 37.12 CAD/hour
- Permanent evening position
- 3 weeks of summer vacation
- 2 weeks of holiday time
- Up to 6 paid personal days

- Evening shift premium of 1.80 CAD/hour, if applicable
