About the Role Entergy Texas, Inc.-GTX A is seeking a Meter Technician to repair, program, and test electric meters in both shop and field settings under supervision. This role involves hands-on meter work, use of laptops/tablets for programming and reporting, and progression to more advanced tasks after the first year. What You'll Do
- Use and maintain a laptop/tablet for meter programming, maintenance, completing daily work orders, time reporting, load validation, and other electronic forms.
- Connect and use test boards; understand and use testing instruments.
- Read, connect, and disconnect meters; program and test new meters; clean, repair and test old meters; read and reset demand meters.
