Job title: Metals Center of Excellence Lead Senior Manager

About the Role Accenture’s Metals Center of Excellence Lead Senior Manager will drive client cost optimization and procurement process improvements in upstream bulk metals, leading strategic initiatives and mentoring teams. This role combines client engagement, category leadership, and functional expertise to scale metals sourcing capabilities across engagements.

What You'll Do

• Develop project plans and lead client engagements, coordinating with SMEs from within and outside the firm.
• Manage project resources, client and supplier communications, and delivery of results.
• Develop creative cost reduction strategies and actionable recommendations.
• Present to client executives and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients; assess expenditures and identify targets to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Reengineer procurement processes and drive Metals Center of Excellence initiatives.
• Manage Metals Center of Excellence sales targets, pipeline, and lead sales calls with category expertise.
• Coach and develop internal team members and their career growth plans.
• Provide metals industry thought leadership, benchmarking, and develop deliverables (POV slides, case studies, whitepapers).
• Build and expand internal category knowledge capture and supporting technologies.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 10 years of experience executing strategic sourcing and procurement projects/programs, including 5+ years in metals sourcing or metals negotiations.
• Minimum 3 years of management consulting experience with a well-regarded firm.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience); if associate degree, a minimum of 6 years’ work experience.
• Travel requirements of 10-50%.
• Strong communication, leadership, and change-management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive client value.
• Proven experience sourcing a broad range of mill product metals categories and exposure to value-added components is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Bonus points for experience across steel coil, plate, non-ferrous equivalents, die castings, precision stampings, machined parts, and related components.
