Job Description
Metal Finishing Technician
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Location: Seacoast, NH Area Type: Direct Hire Pay: Up to $32/hour
Leddy Group is seeking a Metal Finishing Technician to join a leading manufacturer serving highly specialized industries including aerospace, defense, medical, and advanced technology markets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing, metal finishing, chemical processing, or production experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and thrives in a precision-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform electropolishing and metal finishing operations using approved equipment and procedures
- Clean, rinse, neutralize, dry, and prepare metal components for production
- Operate cleaning tanks, rinse systems, and related processing equipment
- Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure quality and specification compliance
- Monitor processing times, surface finish requirements, and production standards
- Accurately complete production records and process documentation
- Assist with inventory of chemicals, supplies, and consumable materials
- Support continuous improvement, workplace organization, and cross-training initiatives
- Follow all quality, safety, and environmental procedures
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

1-3 years of manufacturing, metal finishing, plating, cleaning, chemical processing, or related production experience preferred

Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Basic math and measurement skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing environments is a plus

Familiarity with electropolishing, passivation, plating, or chemical processing is highly desirable
