About this role
Bachem in Bubendorf, Switzerland is seeking an MES Specialist to join the MES team in the Digital Manufacturing department. The role supports the implementation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in new and existing production processes within a GMP environment, contributing to the ongoing optimization of manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Capture, analyze and implement production and support processes in the MES within a GMP framework
- Create, design and review Master Batch Records (MBR) and cleaning instructions (ESP)
- Analyze project requirements and support change and requirements management
- Work closely with production, materials management, quality assurance and other departments to develop sustainable solutions
- Organize and moderate project meetings and workshops
- Ensure system communication and interface integration between MES and other electronic systems
- Manage incident, problem and change processes, including 2nd-level support and occasional on-call support
- Manage user access rights and train and support MES end users
Requirements
- Education in IT, automation, chemistry, biology or pharmacy with strong affinity for IT systems
- Experience designing Master Batch Records (MBR), ideally with PAS-X
- Work experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous
- Solid knowledge of GMP environments
- Understanding of process automation, process engineering, IT networks, databases and/or programming languages is advantageous

- Very good German and good English skills
