Position This position reports to Merchandising Director, Men's. Main mission is to strategically lead and drive the Men's merchandising business in Japan, acting as the critical link between local market demands and Headquarters, while maximizing sales, profitability, and ensuring strong brand alignment across all categories.
Job responsibilities Christian Dior G.K. is seeking Merchandising Senior Manager/ Manager, Men‘s! MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for men’s buying sessions, 4 times a year in Paris. Accountable for tracking orders and maintains Open-to-Buy budget for seasonal collections. In charge of forecasting Permanent collection by product category/store Create merchandising strategy and assortment by store, to maximize sales potential in each cluster. Fully responsible for seasonal sell-through, including analysis and in-season action plans. Manage merchandise replenishment on the selling floor, including E-commerce. Apply on-going process review and best practice implementation. Prepare and organize collection presentation for internal staff and trunk show/events for customers in cooperation with other MD members and Retail Operation department. Provide elevated customer service and collect customer feedback from key stores. Provides weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual retail management reports. Collaborate and support the MTM and Tailoring Community. Conduct market survey, which includes competitor’s category mix and best-sellers.
Profile Qualifications: Experience / Knowledge / Skills Work experience of Merchandising (Merchandise admin assistant or allocator etc.) for more than 5 years. Work experience in retail fashion industry. Team management experience. Strong numerical and analytical skills and confidence working with large volumes of data; collecting, analyzing, presenting findings. Interest in retail and trends. Passion for fashion. Strong PC skills. (especially excel) Good communication, interpersonal skills.
