Location

On-campus, Palwal & Hisar, Haryana Reporting: Head of Student Affairs Trajectory: Student Affairs Leadership, Campus Operations, Equity Eligible Is This You? You are in your final year of college or have just graduated, and you are the person friends come to when something is wrong. You listen first. You stay calm when others do not. You are dependable in a way that people notice, and you genuinely enjoy helping a young person feel at home somewhere new. Why This Role Exists At Edoofa, securing a university admission is only the beginning. Our responsibility continues when international students arrive in India, settle into campus life, pursue their degrees and prepare for meaningful careers. A University Mentor is Edoofa's trusted, visible presence on campus — the first person students approach when they need guidance, reassurance, accountability or help solving a problem. You are not simply coordinating student activities. You are helping students feel supported, stay on track and thrive. The Mandate at a Glance • Student welfare: Students feel safe, heard, supported and connected to the right resources. • Academic progress: Attendance, engagement and academic concerns are tracked and addressed early. • Campus coordination: Clear communication with university teams, students and Edoofa leadership. • Student experience: Smooth onboarding, meaningful activities and prompt issue resolution. The real test: every Edoofa student on your campus should know whom to turn to — and trust that you will follow through. What You Will Own 1. Student mentoring and wellbeing: Be the approachable point of contact for Edoofa students. Listen, guide, resolve routine concerns and escalate sensitive or urgent matters promptly through the right channels. 2. Academic engagement and accountability: Monitor attendance, academic participation and early warning signs. Follow up with students and coordinate with university teams to help them stay on course. 3. Onboarding and campus integration: Support new arrivals with orientation, university processes, campus navigation and adjustment to life in India. Foster belonging across cultures. 4. University and internal coordination: Build productive working relationships with faculty, administration, hostel teams and Edoofa's Student Affairs function. Maintain clear, timely updates and follow-through. 5. Student activities and development: Encourage participation in campus events, community initiatives, life-skills activities and career-readiness opportunities that enrich the student journey. 6. Documentation and issue tracking: Maintain accurate student records, activity updates and issue logs. Track each concern through to resolution while respecting student privacy. What the Daily Work Actually Looks Like This is a hands-on, campus-facing position. You will spend time with students, proactively identify concerns, coordinate with university stakeholders and remain accountable for outcomes — not just reports. Some situations will require patience, discretion, empathy and calm judgment. You should know when to solve a problem independently and when to involve the Head of Student Affairs. Who Will Thrive Here A compassionate, dependable and proactive person with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Someone organised and culturally sensitive, comfortable working on-site in Palwal or Hisar, and able to build trust with young international students while maintaining professional boundaries.
