Job title: Mentor - ABSI Mentoring Program
About the Role ABSI's Mentoring Program places Senior Developers to acclimate and mentor full-time .NET and Java developers who recently graduated from a highly selective boot camp for a six-month period. Mentors work with both Company Senior Management and Junior Developers to integrate the developers into your environment and guide them throughout the program.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a full-time mentor for six months, helping new developers adapt to your environment
- Review all completed code
- Hold daily meetings with developers
- Conduct frequent meetings with Company IT Management
- Facilitate onboarding and ongoing development of the mentored developers
What We're Looking For
- Senior software developers with strong technical expertise in .NET and/or Java
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior developers
- Excellent code-review and feedback skills
- Strong communication and collaboration with IT management
- Commitment to a full-time mentoring role for the 6-month program
