About the Role Rutgers University is seeking a Mental Health Specialist II (Part Time: 4p – 12:30a Sat/Sun) to support the 988 Lifeline Services within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. This role provides streamlined, prompt, and customer-friendly services to clients by telephone, chat, and text.
What You'll Do
- Receive telephone, chat, and/or text requests from individuals seeking support through the 988 Lifeline.
- Support the unit’s mission by delivering streamlined, prompt, and customer-friendly services to clients.
- Assist with coordinating and documenting interactions in accordance with program policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure quality service and effective client communication.
What We're Looking For
- Availability for part-time schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
- Ability to provide customer-friendly service via telephone, chat, and/or text communications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
