About the Role Rutgers University Correctional Health Care (UCHC) is seeking a Full-Time Mental Health Clinician III to work at the Southwoods State Prison in Bridgenton, New Jersey. The role participates in the assessment of clinical needs of adult inmates sentenced to the Department of Corrections.
What You'll Do
- Participate in the assessment of clinical needs of adult inmates sentenced to the Department of Corrections.
- Provide evaluation and therapeutic interventions as part of the correctional mental health program.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in mental health assessment and intervention in a correctional setting.
- Ability to work onsite at a state prison facility.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with DSM-5/DSM-V based assessment approaches.
