Job title: Member Services Staff
About the Role Join Campus Recreation as a Member Services Staff member to grant facility access, process payments, and sell memberships and rentals for UC's Campus Recreation facilities. You will be the front-line, providing accurate information to members and guests and enforcing campus policies. This role supports scheduling, payments, and equipment rentals to ensure a smooth member experience.
What You'll Do
- Grant access to Campus Recreation facilities (Campus Recreation Center and Fitness Center at CARE/Crawley)
- Sell memberships, day passes, programs, packages, and Pro Shop items
- Answer questions from members about facilities, memberships, and programs at the member services desk and over the phone
- Process payments for memberships, day passes, programs, packages, and Pro Shop items
- Enroll participants in programs
- Issue equipment rentals (dip belts, basketballs, towels, etc.)
- Enforce Campus Recreation policies
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or secondary school; enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), and/or will be a registered student during the next academic term
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Enrollment specifics: the period between two successive terms; the one off term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled; student employee status may be retained for one additional term following graduation or withdrawal
- Availability to work early mornings, late nights, and holidays
- Minimum of 6 hours and a maximum of 24 hours per week (non-international) or up to 20 hours per week for international employees

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $11.40/hour
- 20% discount of programs and services (excluding Pro Shop)
