About the Role This field-based role covers Lake and McHenry Counties and the Northern Chicago territory. You’ll be out in the field daily, delivering Humana's Medicare Advantage solutions and other offerings, and building relationships in your community.

What You'll Do

• Deliver: Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings (Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage)
• Differentiate: Create meaningful face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits—providing a personalized experience that sets Humana apart
• Grow: Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana's presence in your market by becoming a valued resource and building relationships in your community

What We're Looking For

• Active Health Insurance License required or ability to obtain; must reside in the assigned territory
• Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, at community-based events, and engaging with the community through service, retail environments, organizations, volunteer work, or local events
• Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements)
• Preferred Qualifications: Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License; background in selling Medicare products; experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups; familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs; associate or bachelor’s degree; bilingual in English and an additional language (fluency in speaking, reading, and writing)
• Driving Statement: maintain personal vehicle liability insurance; license validation and MVR review
• Language Proficiency Assessment: non-English speakers may need to take ILR-based assessment

• Additional qualifications such as Value Based Care experience and related industry background

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000 - $125,000 per year (base plus commission with guarantee)
• Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and other supplemental insurances; PTO and paid holidays; 401(k) with company match; tuition reimbursement for qualifying dependent children
• Training: first five weeks of employment are mandatory
• Travel: remote position with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings
• Schedule: 40 hours per week; some evenings/weekends may be required
