Job title: Medicare Sales Field Agent - East TX
About the Role This is a remote, field-based Medicare Sales role focused on the Longview/Tyler, TX area. You’ll serve the local community within the designated counties (Smith, Gregg, Rusk, Upshur, Van Zandt) as part of a collaborative team of 8–12 Medicare Sales Field Agents under a Senior Manager and Regional Director.

- Deliver: Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Differentiate: Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits—providing a personalized experience that sets Humana apart.
- Grow: Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana's presence in your community by becoming a valued resource and building relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Active Health Insurance License required or ability to obtain.
- Must reside in the assigned territory.
- Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, at community-based events, and engaging with the community through service, retail environments, or local events.
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher per state requirements).
- Preferred: Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
- Background in selling Medicare products.
- Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Bilingual in English and an additional language.
Nice to Have
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License (if not already listed under required).
- Experience supporting Value Based Care organizations.
- Additional CRM experience (Salesforce or similar).
- Higher education in healthcare, business, or related field.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $80,000 - $125,000 per year (base plus commission with guarantee; may vary by location).
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and other supplemental insurances; PTO and Paid Holidays; 401(k) with company match; Tuition reimbursement/scholarships for qualifying dependent children.
- Schedule: Full-time; flexibility required; meetings with members may occur at night or on weekends.
- Travel: Remote position with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.
- Training: First five weeks of employment are mandatory.
- Additional information: Driving safety program requires valid license and personal vehicle insurance; ILR language assessment for non-English speakers.
