About the Role The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will communicate the clinical utility of Paragonix Organ Preservation Systems and engage in scientific discussions with customers. The role supports the commercial team by building relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical decision makers across solid organ transplantation, with initial focus on abdominal transplantation.
What You'll Do
- Communicate and reinforce the clinical utility of Paragonix organ preservation systems across solid organ transplantation (heart, lung, liver, kidney and pancreas); initial focus on abdominal transplantation.
- Deliver high-quality clinical presentations and engage external transplant professionals through clear, compelling scientific dialogue.
- Develop strong, productive relationships with KOLs including surgical directors, medical directors, transplant physicians and allied health professionals.
- Build expertise in the supporting literature on solid organ transplantation and stay current with the latest developments.
- Serve as the primary clinical resource for Regional Territory Managers to support adoption and expanded use of Paragonix systems.
- Support clinical and scientific meetings and national conferences.
- Support Clinical Operations with field presence at transplant centers participating in GUARDIAN-registries (sponsored by Paragonix Technologies).
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and maintain administrative functions (expense reports, lead follow-up) in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of a BS in physical, biological, nursing or clinical laboratory science; BSN, MS, PharmD or PhD preferred; equivalent combinations considered.
- Minimum 2 years of organ transplant experience (clinical or industry).
- This is a remote (US) position with regular in-person customer visits; willing to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 70% of the time.
- Excellent understanding of abdominal transplant clinical nuance.
- Emotional intelligence, ability to persuade, relationship-building, communication, listening, organization, critical thinking and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with quick responses to changing needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degrees such as BSN, MS, PharmD or PhD are preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 per year, plus up to 20% annual bonus.
