About the Role The Medical Science Liaison will communicate the clinical utility of Paragonix Organ Preservation Systems and engage in scientific discussions with new and existing customers. This role supports the commercial team by building relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical decision-makers in solid organ transplantation, with initial focus on abdominal transplantation.
What You'll Do
- Communicate and reinforce the clinical utility of the Paragonix suite of organ preservation systems across solid organ transplantation (heart, lung, liver, kidney and pancreas); initial focus on abdominal transplantation.
- Deliver high-quality clinical presentations and engage in scientific discussions with external transplant professionals; differentiate Paragonix products through compelling evidence.
- Develop strong relationships with KOLs including surgical directors, medical directors, transplant physicians and allied health professionals.
- Develop expertise in supporting literature and stay current with advances in solid organ transplantation.
- Serve as the primary clinical resource for Regional Territory Managers to support adoption and expanded use.
- Support clinical and scientific meeting presence (national conferences) and involvement.
- Support Clinical Operations needs with field support at transplant centers participating in the GUARDIAN-registries.
- Comply with corporate policies and administrative duties (expense reports, lead follow-ups) in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of a BS degree in physical, biological, nursing or clinical laboratory science; BSN, Masters, PharmD or PhD preferred; Equivalent combinations considered.
- Minimum 2 years of organ transplant experience (clinical or industry).
- This is a remote US role with expectations of regular in-person customer visits; willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 70%.
- Excellent understanding of abdominal transplant clinical nuance.
- Emotional intelligence, persuasion, relationship-building, communication, listening, organization, critical thinking and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed organization requiring quick response to changing needs; excellent interpersonal relationships and presentation/communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degrees (BSN, MS, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
- Experience with GUARDIAN-registries or related clinical registries.
Compensation & Benefits
- US-based salary: $160,000 - $180,000 plus 20% annual bonus.
