About the Role Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join the Bay Area Cancer Center. The role involves providing expert oncology/hematology care as part of the clinical patient care team to support cancer patients and their families.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive medical oncology/hematology care as a member of the clinical patient care team.
  • Perform tasks and procedures consistent with licensure and training.
  • Collaborate interdepartmentally and with referring physicians to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Use electronic health records and software for documentation and scheduling.
  • Exercise good judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving in complex cancer care.
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance and professional conduct.

What We're Looking For

  • Board Certified (or eligible within the past 2 years) with an Oregon medical license, and meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privilege.
  • Experience practicing radiation oncology with a strong record, or an excellent recent graduate; practice-building experience a plus.
  • Excellent clinical acumen and interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with healthcare software.
