About the Role
Cape Fox Concentric Methods, LLC is accepting resumes for a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician to support the Navy Facility at Camp Pendleton, California. The position is non-exempt with a total hourly pay of $45.84 (base $40.91 + $4.93 Health & Welfare rate), and operates on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including weekends and holidays. Overtime applies; position is up to 40 hours per week per SCLS regulations.
What You'll Do

Perform a full range of clinical laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, cytology, histotechnology, urinalysis, serology, microbiology and blood bank.

Determine suitability of specimens for analysis; prepare specimens and maintain physiological state; prepare reagents and reference materials as necessary.

Calibrate, standardize, adjust, and maintain instruments; verify operation using established QC checks.

Identify causes of common problems and perform simple repairs; recognize indicators of malfunction and implement corrections.

Obtain analytical data, convert to prescribed units, and correlate results to verify accuracy.

Conduct quality control procedures on equipment, reagents, and products; maintain records for QC/QA.

Prepare specimens for transport or mail-out; dispose of biological waste properly.

Demonstrate strong written and oral communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail; work with minimal supervision.

What We're Looking For

Graduate from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by NAACLS or ABHES, or an AMT-acceptable program.

Certification/registration as determined by ASCP or AMT.

One year of experience after graduation.

Total hourly pay: $45.84 (base $40.91 + $4.93 H&W); up to 40 hours/week per SCLS.
