Key Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of medical laboratory procedures, particularly diagnostic testing and quality control.
- Practical experience in haematology/ haemoglobinopathy laboratory testing will be an advantage.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment and undertake basic troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and result interpretation.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Strong gunderstanding of laboratory quality and safety standards.
- Good communication, teamwork and supervisory skills.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established procedures and quality standards
Minimum Qualification
- BMLS/AMLS from a recognised institution, with a valid and current practising license duly certified by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a medical laboratory setting.
- Experience in haematology, haemoglobinopathy testing, reference laboratory services or a similar diagnostic laboratory environment will be an added advantage.
