Job Description

• We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and results-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist/Marketer to join our team.
• The successful candidate will combine medical laboratory knowledge with marketing and business development skills to promote the company's diagnostic products, equipment, reagents, and laboratory solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and market the company's laboratory products, diagnostic equipment, reagents, and related services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, medical laboratories, clinics, healthcare professionals, and other potential clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and follow-ups with prospective and existing clients.
• Provide clients with appropriate technical and product information.
• Visit healthcare facilities and laboratories to promote products and develop business relationships.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Prepare regular marketing and sales reports.
• Support the achievement of sales and business-development targets.
• Represent the company professionally at meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and other relevant events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).
• Must possess a valid practising licence from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, business development, or a related role is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of medical laboratory equipment, reagents, consumables, and diagnostic products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer-service and relationship-management skills.
• Must be self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel for marketing activities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be professional, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must reside within Karu, Kurudu, Jikwoyi, Nyanya, Mararaba, Masaka, Orozo, or Karshi Axis.
