About the Role The Medical Interpreter I is responsible for assessing the needs of patients and providing interpretation of consent forms, diagnoses, discharge plans and any other type of patient-related information. What You'll Do
- Interprets and transmits accurately patient-related information across the Institute, prioritizing emergency and urgent requests.
- Arrives on time to appointments and provides services from entry through discharge.
- Responds promptly to interpretation requests throughout the Institute, maintaining professional and compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams. What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Cape Verdean and Portuguese, with the ability to interpret in medical settings.
- Strong interpretation skills, reliability, and ability to handle urgent/emergency situations.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional standards. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $56,000.00 - $64,200.00 per year.
