About this role

About the Role IQVIA Safety Operations plays an important part in the design, build and execution of end-to-end safety solutions for major pharmaceutical companies and their post-market products around the world. This Medical Information Specialist role puts you at the forefront of Patient Safety, with daily direct contact with health care professionals (HCPs) and patients. You will support medical information call center services and process safety and product quality information across multiple therapeutic areas to help optimize safety profiles: Respiratory; Infectious diseases, Immunology and Inflammation; HIV & Oncology. What You'll Do

  • Provide phone support to health care professionals and patients, involving receipt and tracking of medical inquiries, adverse events, product quality complaints, and other types of calls as required.
  • Receive and document incoming telephone calls, faxes or emails from various sources including investigative sites during regular weekday business working hours.
  • Establish and maintain effective team communications i.e. provide regular feedback to the local management team on project metrics, out of scope work challenges/issues and successes.
  • Build a positive, collaborative team environment with other Lifecycle safety team members.
  • Participate in training and development from in-house safety experts to plan and progress your career. What We're Looking For
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to provide phone support to health care professionals and patients and to document medical inquiries, adverse events and product quality concerns.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work as part of a team.
