Job title: Medical Imaging Field Engineer - XP & AT - Hershey, PA
About the Role Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Medical Imaging Field Engineer to service imaging equipment in the Hershey, PA area. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Medical Solution instrumentation at customer sites with minimal supervision, and provide operator training to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. You will also manage territory financial performance and company assets as part of delivering high-quality service.
What You'll Do
- Service imaging equipment at customer sites in Hershey, PA.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Siemens imaging instruments.
- Deliver timely repairs and operator training to ensure optimal system performance.
- Manage financial performance within the territory (revenue, expenses, inventory).
- Manage company assets (vehicle, phone, computer, tools, parts).
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and peers; perform administrative duties accurately.
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical principles, power supplies, grounding, and overall instrument systems technology (mechanics, electrical, chemistry, software).
What We're Looking For
- Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
- Proficiency with tools and service test equipment; able to work independently or in a team.
- Proficiency in network applications/tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record; ability to drive day and night.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; climb ladders/steps; bend, twist, and perform standing/squat work; work safely alone.
- Knowledge of electrical principles, power supplies and grounding; experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Nice to Have
- Technical Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
- Familiarity with Medical Imaging Equipment service, preventive maintenance, and modifications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $58,240-$80,080 per year (USD).
