About the Role Behavioral Health Clinic (BHC) is a growing multidisciplinary private behavioral health practice serving communities throughout Wisconsin through outpatient clinics, school-based services, and statewide telehealth programs. We are seeking a compassionate and visionary Medical Doctor who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care while helping shape the future of behavioral health services. This role offers more than a traditional clinical position, with opportunities to develop into Medical Leadership, partnering with executive leadership to drive clinical excellence, mentor providers, strengthen quality initiatives, and influence the strategic direction of psychiatric services across our organization.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and care including medication management; practice in child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatry as appropriate; and engage in telepsychiatry and in-person services as needed.
  • Mentor and support psychiatric providers; participate in recruitment and onboarding of medical providers; develop clinical standards and evidence-based best practices.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive patient care outcomes; collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth, program development, and service expansion.
  • Potential to advance into Medical Director or physician leadership roles as the organization grows.
  • Utilize a diverse clinical practice within a collaborative multidisciplinary care model including school-based behavioral health and telehealth.
  • Benefit from administrative support that handles scheduling, insurance verification, outreach, billing, credentialing, intake coordination, and telehealth technology support, allowing more time for patient care.

What We're Looking For

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Active Wisconsin medical license (or eligible for licensure) and active or eligible DEA registration.
  • Strong commitment to collaborative, evidence-based patient care; interest in clinical leadership, mentorship, and organizational growth.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in medical leadership, recruitment/onboarding of providers, and program development.
  • Interest or experience in telepsychiatry and collaborative care.
