Job title: Medical Assisting Adjunct Faculty
About the Role The University of Saint Francis in Crown Point and Lafayette, Indiana seeks a Medical Assisting Adjunct Faculty member to support the Nursing Pathway with clinical and didactic Medical Assisting instruction. The role includes participation in simulation and skill workshops, ongoing professional development, and collaboration across the Pathway, the University, and the community, while advancing the Catholic and Franciscan Mission of the University.
What You'll Do
- Deliver medical assisting instruction in both clinical and lecture formats for the Nursing Pathway.
- Lead and participate in simulation exercises and skills workshops.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and collaborate with colleagues across the Pathway, the University, and the community.
- Support the Catholic and Franciscan Mission through teaching and service.
What We're Looking For
- Specialization in Medical Assisting with experience, success, and interest in offering both clinical and lecture programming.
- Ability to teach both clinical and didactic content; strong teaching experience preferred.
- Commitment to collaboration and service within the Pathway, across the University and in the community.
- A candidate with an associate degree is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with simulation and skills-based education is a plus, particularly in a mission-driven Catholic/Franciscan educational environment.
