About the Role Join Endeavor Health's Medical Group Gastroenterology team at Swedish Hospital as a Medical Assistant. This role supports patient flow, documentation, and basic clinical tasks to ensure efficient, patient-centered care. Responsibilities span greeting patients, rooming, documenting vitals and visit reasons, and basic front office support; phlebotomy and injections vary by specialty.
What You'll Do
- Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
- Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for the visit.
- Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height, and weight.
- Provide front office support as needed.
- Perform phlebotomy and injections as appropriate to the specialty.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred but not required.
- Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred but not required.
- Experience: One year of work experience required; previous experience in a medical office preferred. On-the-job training provided for those without prior medical assistant training or experience.
- Travel: May need to travel to other Medical Group offices when needed.

- Graduate of accredited medical assisting program (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $19.89 - $28.84 per hour (USD).

- Work schedule: Full-time; 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
