Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant with OB/GYN experience to join a prestigious, high-end obstetrics and gynecology practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, maintain a polished and professional demeanor, and deliver outstanding service in a patient-focused clinical environment.

This position is ideal for a motivated Medical Assistant who understands women's healthcare, values patient confidentiality, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient examinations, gynecological procedures, and routine clinical activities.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure instruments and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for patient visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and patient information.
• Support OB/GYN patient visits, including annual examinations, prenatal visits, and follow-up appointments.
• Assist with specimen collection, laboratory testing, and preparation of laboratory requisitions as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate patient follow-ups, and assist with referrals and medical records.
• Provide patients with professional, compassionate, and discreet service.
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Support front-office and back-office operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment consistent with a high-end medical practice.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited or recognized training program.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in an OB/GYN practice.
• Previous experience assisting with women's healthcare and gynecological examinations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care protocols.
• Experience with electronic health records and medical documentation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Professional appearance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a patient-centered approach.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-end or boutique OB/GYN practice.
• Experience assisting with prenatal care, annual gynecological examinations, and women's health procedures.
• Phlebotomy, EKG, and specimen collection skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and referral coordination.
