About the Role Medical Assistant - General Surgery across four Endeavor Health clinics in Illinois. This role supports 15 providers and clinical staff in a busy office setting, performing patient preparation, specimen collection, routine laboratory testing, phlebotomy, and delegated clinical/administrative tasks under supervision. What You'll Do
- Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and record results, and perform phlebotomy and routine diagnostic tests.
- Provide clinical and administrative support under delegated supervision of a physician.
- Travel between four clinics (Naperville, Plainfield, Yorkville, Sandwich) to cover scheduling needs; ensure coverage with a 20-hour per week schedule; Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00–5:00.
- Maintain compliance with established procedures and standards; support a growing practice. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) with current certification/registration through AAMA, ARMA, NHA or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of clinical experience.
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Valid driver's license if off-site duties required; maintain automobile liability coverage if personal vehicle is used.
- Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred. Nice to Have
- Bilingual Spanish language skills (already listed as preferred). Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $19.89 - $28.84; the rate depends on experience.
- Sign-on bonus: $1,000 total ($500 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year, if still employed at 0.5 FTE or above).
