About the Role The Medical Affairs Thought Leader Liaison will serve as the primary scientific face for a defined therapy area, identifying, mapping and profiling thought leaders across the geography and driving engagement through medical affairs activities. The role supports execution of strategic medical affairs plans to advance patient outcomes and corporate objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Engage identified key thought leaders through medical affairs activities aligned with the strategic plan.
  • Execute the strategic medical affairs plan including medical education, product education, evidence generation, advisory boards, pre-license activities and special projects.
  • Serve as a therapeutic area scientific expert, discussing data and treatment trends with leading specialists and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with therapy area lead to support optimal patient outcomes by communicating data, information, knowledge, and insights to healthcare professionals and the organization.
  • Represent the organization in internal and external scientific platforms.
  • Gather deep disease trend insights from thought leaders and convey them to the therapy lead and commercial teams.
  • Conduct disease trend analysis and contribute to the annual Medical Affairs Strategy Plan.
  • Manage scientific information requests from physicians and ensure COBE/compliance alignment.
  • Collaborate on reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, patient-reported outcomes, and publish findings in reputable journals.
  • Develop and deliver an optimal training plan to disseminate latest medical developments to sales and marketing teams.
  • Develop the Medical Affairs strategic plan for identified therapeutic areas and products.

What We're Looking For

  • Therapeutic area scientific expertise with ability to discuss scientific data with physicians, pharmacists, hospital managers and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in medical education, evidence generation, advisory boards, and medical communications.
  • Ability to translate insights on disease trends and treatment patterns into strategic medical plans and actionable insights for commercial teams.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of representing an organization in internal and external scientific platforms.
  • Knowledge of COBE (Code of Business Ethics) and compliance guidelines; commitment to ethical engagement and patient-focused outcomes.
  • Ability to handle complex questions from healthcare professionals related to GGI products or disease areas.
