About the Role Dentsu is seeking a Media Strategy Manager who can connect data, consumer insights, and evidence-based marketing with media and business knowledge to design communications strategies that maximize media effectiveness and real business impact for clients. The role combines strategic thinking, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and innovative thinking to drive ROI and growth. What You'll Do
- Create the architecture of client communications and media strategy addressing key business challenges with a strong emphasis on ROI, incremental reach, and cost efficiency.
- Identify consumer, media, and business insights and translate them into data-driven recommendations to maximize marketing effectiveness.
- Design strategies based on evidence-based marketing (research, effectiveness models, benchmarks).
- Co-create and apply models of effectiveness measurement (MMM, incremental testing, attribution) in strategy and media recommendations.
- Provide strategic advisory in media planning and buying, collaborating with Client Management, Performance, Paid Social, Data & Analytics, and creative units.
- Monitor media, communication, technology and consumer trends and apply them to client projects.
- Participate in new business processes — prepare bidding strategies and lead working teams.
- Educate and inspire client and internal teams via trainings, workshops, newsletters and knowledge exchange.
- Create innovative projects and propose them for industry awards.
- Build dentsu's reputation through expert appearances, publications and conference participation. What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in media strategy at an agency or on the client side.
- Strong knowledge of the media landscape, research tools, and the offline/digital ecosystem.
- Advanced data skills: analysis and interpretation of campaign results and identification of drivers of effectiveness.
- Knowledge or experience with measurement tools and methods (e.g., MMM, attribution, test & learn, experimentation frameworks) is a big plus.
- Deep understanding of marketing, technology, and consumer trends.
- Experience building strategic presentations (storytelling, structure, visualization of ideas).
- Fluent English.
- Ability to run workshops, trainings and strategic meetings. Proactive, curious about the media world, initiative and ability to connect the dots. Compensation & Benefits
