About the Role We are seeking several Mechatroniker (m/f/d) at our Euskirchen site for the earliest possible start in a full continuous shift system. You’ll be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance of our automated plant systems (high-bay storage, conveyors, automated guided vehicles, ramps and gates, winding machines) and for identifying and repairing faults, supporting innovations, and executing lean improvement activities. You’ll work with safety and quality standards and SAP-based digital systems, and collaborate closely with production teams. What You'll Do
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, inspection and repair for automated plant equipment (fully automated high-bay storage, conveyors, AGVs, ramps/gates, winding machines).
- Identify and resolve faults independently; support innovation projects and test runs (installation, commissioning).
- Apply lean manufacturing methods to eliminate losses.
- Participate in daily prioritization (shift handover) and coordinate parallel tasks.
- Apply and uphold safety and quality standards.
- Use digital operation/record systems (e.g., SAP).
- Collaborate closely with production-related functions. What We're Looking For
- Completed vocational training as a Mechatroniker, Elektriker or equivalent.
- Analytical skills with ability to describe and document problems.
- Responsible, highly independent and flexible.
- Very good German communication skills (native or at least B2).
- Experience in maintenance (electrical & mechanical).
- Advanced knowledge in programming of control and regulation technology.
- Analytical and systematic problem-solving abilities; interest in technical challenges.
- Comfortable with working at height.
- Desirable: first experience with shift work. Nice to Have
