About the Role
KAVAK is seeking a Mechanical Technician to diagnose and service mechanical and electrical systems for refurbishing and maintaining vehicles at national and international levels. You will use advanced diagnostic tools, perform HVAC maintenance, tire service, braking work, and engine/brake repairs to ensure high-quality reconditioning.
What You'll Do
- Advanced diagnostic of mechanical and electrical systems using OBD-II scanner
- Maintain and service HVAC systems
- Maintain and validate tires (mount/dismount, balance, TPMS)
- Machining and replacement of braking components (discs, drums, and parking brake components)
- Inspect and adjust suspension, steering and drivetrain
- Repair basic engine and brake systems
- Activation/deactivation of Service Mode
- Interpret technical manuals and electrical diagrams
- Apply quality standards in refurbishment processes
- What We're Looking For
- 4-5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience replacing parts (mirrors, tires, handles, headlights, taillights)
- Partial leak inspection experience
- Proficient with scanner usage
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical diagrams
- Strong attention to quality and refurbishment standards

- Salary: 12,825 MXN per month (approximately 1,056 MXN in meal/vales card)
