About the Role Join Kavak as a Mechanical Technician to identify and report mechanical, electrical, or safety faults detected during vehicle inspections. You will support basic diagnostics with manual and measurement tools, verify fluid levels and core vehicle systems, and document findings in the internal control system while collaborating with the quality team.
What You'll Do
- Identify and report mechanical, electrical, or safety faults detected during inspections.
- Support basic diagnostics using hand tools and measurement tools.
- Verify fluid levels, brakes, suspension, tires, and basic vehicle systems.
- Document findings and record information in the internal control system.
- Follow up on minor mechanical corrections or adjustments.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and the quality team to resolve issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment assigned.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and keep the work area organized.
What We're Looking For
- 3-4 years minimum experience in a similar role.
- Experience replacing parts such as side mirrors, tires, door handles, headlights, and taillights.
- Experience performing partial leak inspections.
- Experience using diagnostic scanners.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 12,258.00 MXN per month plus 1,056 MXN in valet cards.
