Job title: Mechanical Planner
About the Role Mechanical Planner reporting to the Neenah Plant Manager Mechanical Services Manager, this role oversees mechanical inspection reporting to customers, management of materials for all work, planning of work in the mechanical services department, and scheduling of outsourced repairs.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and order all parts and supplies for individual jobs on an as-needed basis
- Maintain and order inventory for stock items in the mechanical shop
- Work with the Quality manager to ensure inspection reports are complete and accurate
- Responsible for all quoting of jobs to customers and sales engineers
- Provide updates and reports to the Mechanical/Quality manager regarding problems and issues
- Complete outgoing reports for plain/press rolls and suction rolls
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper industry
- Languages: English
- Must have proven supervisory and leadership abilities
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with mechanical and machine repairs
- Computer skills with Excel and Word
- Proficiency in Solidworks to create detailed drawings is a plus
