About this role
Join IDOM's Infrastructure Technical Area in Madrid as a Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineer specializing in tunnel ventilation. You will work on national and international projects within a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities to grow professionally and potentially become a partner.
What You'll Do
- Design and calculation of mechanical ventilation and HVAC systems.
- Coordinating with other disciplines during the various phases of project design and construction.
- Developing engineering documents such as design reports, calculation reports, schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, layout plans, etc.
- Communicating and coordinating with the BIM/CAD modeling team.
- Preparing data sheets and technical specifications for equipment, including contacting suppliers and vendors.
What We're Looking For
- Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technologies, or Aeronautical Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in technical offices designing this type of installation (axial/centrifugal fans, ventilation stations, air handling units, ducts, grilles, silencers, dampers, etc.). Experience in tunnel or infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Proficient in using calculation and simulation tools for aerodynamics/CFD (FDS, Ansys Fluent, Camatt, IDA Tunnel, etc.).
- Used to working in a BIM environment.
- A team player with technical excellence. Can work independently with a flair for innovation.
- Advanced level of English.

- Experience in tunnel or infrastructure projects is a plus.
