Job Title: Mechanical Operations & Repair Technician / Lead / Coordinator III

Job Purpose

• To carry out, supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance, repair and operational support activities for plant, equipment and associated facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment.

• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical faults.

• Perform mechanical repairs and equipment replacement.

• Support installation, alignment and commissioning of mechanical equipment.

• Carry out routine equipment inspections.

• Assist with troubleshooting of pumps, valves, compressors and other mechanical equipment.

• Read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and relevant technical documents.

• Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities.

• Follow approved maintenance procedures and work instructions.

• Comply with PTW, JSA/JHA and HSE requirements.

• Coordinate with operations, engineering and maintenance teams.

• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.

• Lead Level The Lead will additionally:

• Supervise mechanical technicians.

• Allocate daily work activities.

• Monitor work quality and productivity.

• Coordinate maintenance activities with operations.

• Review completed maintenance work.

• Support troubleshooting of complex mechanical problems.

• Coordination Level The Mechanical Coordinator will additionally:

• Coordinate mechanical maintenance activities across work teams.

• Prepare work schedules and priorities.

• Coordinate manpower, tools and materials.

• Liaise with operations, maintenance, engineering and contractors.

• Monitor work progress and report outstanding activities.

Requirements

• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant mechanical maintenance/repair experience.
• Experience in oil & gas, industrial, manufacturing or similar facilities.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment documentation.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices and HSE requirements.
