About the Role Join Kavak as a Mechanical Inspector responsible for verifying mechanical, aesthetic, and structural conditions of vehicles prior to purchase, ensuring they meet quality standards for homologation and resale. You will validate vehicle version information, mileage, documentation, and structural integrity to support accurate listings and post-purchase confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure before purchase that mechanical, aesthetic, and structural conditions meet the required quality standards for homologation.
  • Validate/update vehicle version information based on visual inspection and internal components.
  • Verify mileage has not been altered and does not exceed standard mileage.
  • Review customer-provided documentation to ensure it matches the vehicle.
  • Confirm the vehicle structure has not been compromised by damage.
  • Identify potential engine faults after inspection.
  • Inspect the wheel system (tires, brake pads, discs, rims).
  • Identify leaks or issues with wiring/electrical systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in vehicle inspection or quality control related to automotive assets.
  • Attention to detail and ability to assess mechanical, cosmetic, and structural aspects.
  • Ability to verify vehicle documentation and mileage consistency.
  • Knowledge of engine, wheel/tire systems, and electrical wiring basics.
  • Willingness to work onsite in CDMX and collaborate with finance/post-sale teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: 13,000 MXN per month.
