About the Role OHB System AG in Bremen is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for Satellite Assembly (m/f/d) for permanent employment. You will perform mechanical tasks during satellite integration, support the integration of flight units, and work in our cleanroom environment with MGSE, contributing to successful launch campaigns. What You'll Do
- Execute mechanical tasks during satellite integration and assembly
- Integrate flight units, panels and satellite modules
- Perform mechanical harness work and install thermal hardware (thermistors, thermostats, Dow Corning, Sigraflex, etc.)
- Work with crane and MGSE in the cleanroom and maintain cleanliness/organization
- Contribute to the preparation or independent preparation of integration procedures based on experience
- Collaborate in a team organized by an AIT Lead What We're Looking For
- Apprenticeship in mechanics or degree in mechanics/space technology or comparable qualification
- Knowledge in mechanics and mechanical integration, preferably in space technology
- Familiar with applicable space standards
- Preferable knowledge of harness/connector/structural element/MLI repair
- Flexibility for shift work; willingness to travel for test/launch campaigns
- High level of orderliness, accuracy and responsibility
