- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment within the academy.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and facilities.
- Maintain generators, pumps, air conditioning systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical equipment.
- Respond promptly to mechanical faults and emergency breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with mechanical safety standards and maintenance procedures.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and prepare maintenance reports.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical systems.
- Supervise mechanical technicians and contractors when required.
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.

Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.

Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional certification or registration is an added advantage.
