About the Role The Mechanical Engineer (Offer Management) supports the Germany-based offer management team by evaluating technical and economic feasibility of customer inquiries and preparing competitive quotations. This role combines engineering analysis with cross-functional coordination to deliver high-quality offers from Chennai, India. What You'll Do
- Prepare quotation documents including technical specifications, calculations and delivery times
- Analyze customer inquiries for technical feasibility and economic conditions
- Coordinate with design, purchasing, production and sales
- Provide technical advice to customers during the quotation phase
- Identify optimization opportunities to improve competitiveness
- Participate in contract negotiations and handovers to project management
- Independently recognize priorities and process customer requests
- Design 2D drawings and 3D models in Siemens NX aligned to internal specs, performance requirements and safety standards
- Ensure needs-based communication in unclear situations
- Report spent hours in SAP and Jira to ensure data quality What We're Looking For
- Experience with Product Design using Parametric CAD Software (Siemens NX) and Siemens Teamcenter PLM
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where creativity, cooperation, and communication are key
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; experience in a similar role; bilingual German/English; experience on Parametric CAD (Siemens NX); knowledge in Teamcenter from Siemens; knowledge in SAP; knowledge in technical calculations
