Job title: Mechanical Engineer (Junior Manager Program)
About the Role A manufacturing-focused Mechanical Engineer role at P&G's Rakona Plant, driving continuous improvement in production systems, reliability, quality and safety of equipment. You will begin with a 1-year Junior Manager Program and gain experience across making and packing operations with global application.
What You'll Do
- Start on the 1-year Junior Manager Program to become a technical expert focused on innovation, maintenance and optimization of production systems with worldwide application.
- Participate in the redesigning and development of mechanical components and systems.
- Monitor conditions of existing equipment and optimize performance and maintenance requirements.
- Plan and coordinate projects with other team members to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and quality.
- In Packaging: support installation and startup of new equipment and systematize tools for maintenance and production management; inform us of performance losses and identify key improvement projects to meet targets.
- In Making: maintain flexibility while delivering high-quality products on time; identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop learning programs for operators and team leaders; work to simplify processes and standardize work.
